Camping...Camping...Camping

Wow...a long time since i blogged....quite busy recently...went for atc last friday.... I realised that the more times you go for camps, the less things you will bring. When I was in secondary school, i used to spend a week or so packing... so nervous and keep checking to see if i missed out anything... remember the 1st time i went atc in sec 2...i even brought a big plastic bag full of stuff on top of my bag...well...who carries a big plastic bag to camps....everything should be compact and stuffed in the backpack... haha...but then was 年少无知... ...
Then my backpack evolved from a school bag to a outdoor camping bag...bigger... but then i still have to bring a shoe bag to supplement. And i still took a few days to pack my stuff. This time round, i really can't be bothered. Packed my stuff the night before i go camp... no shoe bag...only my camping bag... really packed the minimal and necessary...and there is still space for more stuff... dunno why i used to be so troubled about packing...
I realised that i am not prone to mosquito bites...so i was pondering whether i should bring my mosquito coil or not...apparently in my case.... i will be 'sacrificially protected' from the bites by my other 'more vulnerable to bites' friends. oh that was mean...haha
I did mention last year that i dun want to be the advance party the following year...but i was still on the AP list this year... other than the hard labour... i think it is still quite all right... i just need to complain a bit i suppose... i think i grew fatter after this camp.... instructors welfare was quite good...we got proper meals...other than that...we can still eat the combat rations though i was not really interested...
Overall it was quite a fun camp....all of us instructors became a closely knitted family...quite heart rending... quite encouraged by the attitude of the newcomers...
